Alright, y’all. We are one day away until the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale goes live for early access cardholder members. I was able to shop in-store this week and get a sneak peek for you all some of the goodies that are included in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale for you all!
Before we jump into some details on the sale, my top picks, and what I actually bought I wanted to be real for a minute on the sale.
This sale in no means should ever make you feel like you aren’t enough if you don’t buy every single sweater you see a blogger post. At the end of the day, bloggers make commissions off of affiliate links that they share and then you purchase through. It allows them to continue to share with you and for some make a living! It’s amazing, but the standard should be set that it’s not realistic for an everyday person to shop in that way. Keep that in mind as you shop.
So, let’s go ahead and get right into it…
This year my goal when shopping the sale was to find pieces you all were looking for and share and style them multiple ways. Beyond that, for items I wanted to add to my own closet, they needed to be special. Just because a sweater on sale doesn’t mean I need it in my closet. So, from me this year you will be seeing a fewer number of items shared, that I truly gravitated towards and thought you all would like.
How To Shop The Nordstrom Sale
If you’re a Nordstrom Credit Card holder of any status, the sale will open for “Early Access” Friday, July 12 at 12:30pm EST. You must have a Nordstrom Credit Card to shop and it must be linked with your account online in order to purchase. You can also shop the sale in your local Nordstrom store. You can apply online here.
For those without a Nordstrom Card, the Nordstrom Anniverary Sale – Public Access opens Friday, July 19 at 12:30pm EST. That means any and everyone can shop the pieces on their site, with or without a card.
Rumor has it that there are fewer items included in the sale this year but MORE stock than years past. This should hopefully cut down on the number of items that sell out before Public Access even begins.
Know What You Need
If it’s wise for you to sign-up for a Nordstrom Credit Card or you already have one, I suggest you take a look through your closet and really asses what you are needing for the fall season. It could be a pair of staple booties to replace some old ones, a new pair of jeans for work, etc.
It’s easy to get sucked up in the blogger sharing and want to buy everything you see (cause girl I know you look cute in everything!), but having a list of items you are searching for can help to keep you on track and on budget (no sale is worth financial debt).
